Spinel is known as the 'stone of immortality' . . .

Spinel can be used to renew energy and to provide encouragement for further attempts at difficult tasks. It can also be used to enhance one’s appearance, to increase the positive aspects of one’s personality, and to assist in obtaining, maintaining, and accepting victory with humility. The energy of spinel is the energy of beauty and is known as a “stone of immortality,” bringing freshness to all endeavors and initiating rejuvenation to that which is beginning to degrade.

Different qualities of spinel are linked the varying colors it comes in. This includes:

Blue spinel can be used to calm sexual desires, enhance communication, and to stimulate channeling and clairaudience. It helps to align and stimulate the throat chakra, enabling verbalization of Kundalini energy.

Green spinel can be used to stimulate compassion, devotion, kindness, and love. It helps to align and stimulate the heart chakra and protect both the Kundalini and the physical structure during Kundalini movement.

Orange spinel can be used to stimulate desire toward creativity, to balance the emotions, to enhance the inner intuitive qualities, and to stimulate fertility/dispel frigidity. It helps to align and stimulate the navel chakra and is conducive to furthering the course of the Kundalini movement.
