Stones and Symbols
Pearl
Pearl symbolizes and encourages purity. . .

The pearl is a product of the pearl oyster, both sea water and fresh water.  It signifies faith, charity, and innocence, enhances personal integrity, and helps to provide a focus to ones attention.  It also symbolizes purity and can stimulate this condition in ones body and mind.  The pearl has been known as a ‘stone of sincerity’, bringing truth to situations and loyalty to a specific purpose.  It has been used to inhibit boisterous behavior and to provide a reflection of the self such that one may see the manner in which one appears to others.

Pearls have been used in the treatment of digestive disorders, and to relieve conditions of biliousness and bloating, to treat the soft organs of the body, and to increase fertility and ease childbirth.

This information is collected from various sources including ‘Love is in the Earth’ by Melody.
